Art Deco, multicoloured, bakelite necklace
This is a modern-made, Art Deco style pendant necklace incorporating original, old Bakelite dominoes and discs.
It is a very colourful design, on one side are four dominoes in four sizes and colours and on the other side, three discs in red, yellow and green.
Bakelite has become a generic description for items made of early plastics and phenolic resins, like Lucite, Catalin, Galalith, Bakelite. This hasn't been tested to determine which type it is.
The 36cm leather cord is also a contemporary piece with Sterling silver findings, and gives the necklace a choker length.
