This is a signed, medium-sized vase, handmade and decorated in an irregular, dripped pattern of blues, golds and yellows, under a high-gloss finish.
It's an attractive vase, with visible throw lines made as the potter pulled up the clay. The final glaze appears to have been dripped on, possibly also using some sort of wax resist. We haven't yet identified the artist, but the base has been signed with an incised "NS" or "SN".
