What's for sale?
This is an old-fashioned, candle light reflector which was presumably made as a theatre footlight.
It's made of brass, with a rudimentary candle holder and drip tray, into which the beautifully-shaped scallop shell reflector is slotted.
Lights like these were originally used during the Victorian period along the front edge of a stage, but as there's no maker's mark, we can't be certain of how old this particular light is. The candle's included!
