What's for sale?

This is an Embassy branded, tinplate gramophone needle tin. The lithographically-printed design features a wind-up record player on a bright red background, with the words "Embassy Gramophone Needles, Loud Tone".

On the back of the tin is the Embassy 'eye' logo with "Average Contents 150 Needles" above and "The British Needle Co Ltd, Redditch England" below.

It has the traditional wire hinge lid. There are still a few needles inside the tin, though most are corroded somewhere or other.

The British Needle & Co Ltd were in operation between the 1920s and mid to late 1960s.
