What's for sale?

This is a lovingly-decorated, handmade teapot by the collectable potter Heather Swain of Cornwall, England.

Depicted on each side are two rabbits eating bunches of carrots. Nice touches include tufts of foliage in the foreground and blue sky overhead. Additionally, the white glaze has been applied more thinly in places to allow the darker colour of the clay to show through, colouring the rabbits' bodies and the ground beneath them.

The teapot's construction is also appealing: a plump body, a short, upturned spout, and the rabbits have been applied in relief for a tactile effect.

Heather Swain is a contemporary Cornish potter, known for charming animal themed pottery like this. Her label is still attached to the base.
