Large Handmade Ricard Fish & Starfish Ashtray

What's for sale?

This is a large, handmade, promotional ashtray for Ricard, the French pastis brand. Ceramique Ricard made a number of these aquatic ashtrays, in various sizes but all featuring colourful fish, brightly-coloured backgrounds and in this case, a starfish too.

This piece features a large, dark red fish enjoying a small pool alongside a starfish and seaweed. The fluted rim gives the impression of waves.

What condition is it in?

• Second-hand
• In very good condition
• There a some small, roughly-finished areas
• No chips or cracks

• 6cm at highest point (2 inches)
• 18.5cm at widest point (6.5 inches)
• 486 grams
