This is a medium-sized silver or nickel plated trinket box in the form of a turtle, with it's hinged shell acting as a lid.
It's quite a detailed representation of a turtle with individually-shaped scales or scutes on its back and a sweet expression on its face. It stands on its four feet and looks like it is on the move. It has a highly polished, reflective surface.
What condition is it in?
- Second-hand
- In good condition
- It is tarnished, with faint scratches and loss of plating in many places
- The hinged lid works as intended and the lid stays upright when opened
