Victorian Pink Hand-Painted Glass Vase

What's for sale?

This is a small, handblown and hand-painted glass vase, in pink with floral decoration. It's typical of the Victorian period and early 1900s.

It has been decorated with a pink wash over the neck and lower half, and a delicately-painted floral pattern around the middle. Small pink and white flowers, green leaves and smaller blue flowers, perhaps Forget Me Nots, with faint gold-coloured lines criss-crossing behind.

What condition is it in?

• Second-hand
• In good condition
• No chips or cracks
• There are small bubbles in the glass, noticeably on the rim
• The gold-coloured highlights are worn in places

• 8cm diameter at the widest point
• 164 grams
