A set of five early 20th century, glass, combination cocktail straws and spoons. Second-hand.
What's for sale?
This is a boxed set of five clear glass cocktail straws or stirrers, with incorporated spoons in green glass.
Included is a paper slip which reads:
Glass Straws
I'm sending you a box of straws
of clearest glass they're made
which are considered now "The Thing"
for tea or lemonade

Who made them and when?
We think these are American and were made during the first half of the 20th century.
The box is labelled "Daniel Low & Co, Salem, Mass." which may or may not be original to the spoons.
Included is a sixth, broken straw.
What condition are they in?

- In good condition
- No chips or cracks in the five straws shown

- Each straw is 20cm long
- Each spoon is 1.5cm wide
