Gold Plated Crystal Pendant Heart Brooch

What's for sale?

This is a well made brooch with an interesting, heart-shaped design.

Eight claw-set crystals trace the shape of the heart, separated by eight little squares. A single, clear, pendant crystal hangs in the centre.

The design is an open framework piece with the claw settings sitting on the bottom part of the frame, while the squares connect the settings to form the top section.

The gold is a beautiful yellow and we think it was made mid-20th century, sometime during the 1930s to 1950s.

• The pin and clasp work well
