David Andersen gold-plated silver pendant for sale

This is a very sweet, heart-shaped pendant, designed by Willy Winnaess for the Norwegian jeweller and silversmith, David Andersen.

The heart-shaped pendant is made from gold-plated Sterling silver, also known as vermeil.  The heart itself is a basse-taille pattern under a beautiful, deep, translucent red enamel.

Basse-taille means low cut and describes the technique of engraving a pattern and covering it with enamel, such that the engraving is still visible beneath.

The heart hangs on a very fine Sterling silver chain with locking clasp.
