An Albin Muller Art Nouveau copper kettle

This is a copper kettle or samovar from around 1903, designed by Albin Müller for the German metal wares manufacturer Eduard Hueck.

Matching copper cups with glass inserts were also available, as was a stand for placing the kettle over a small heater.

It has a looped brass handle with wooden insert, an insulated brass finial on the lid and a decorative, curved section of brass between the body and the spout.

Running around the body is an impressed pattern of swirls, perhaps representing puffs of steam.

Eduard Hueck is a large, German manufacturer of metal wares, originally founded in the 1870s and still operating today.

The mark on the bottom reads Eduard Hueck 2021, which is probably the form number. Other examples of this kettle also carry Albert Müller's "AM" monogram.
