This is covered serving dish with lid, sometimes referred to as a "muffin bowl" in parts of Britain. It's from the British Anchor pottery of Staffordshire, England and has been decorated in their beautiful "Blackthorn" pattern.
The British Anchor Pottery maker's mark
Underneath is British Anchor maker's mark of an anchor and laurel leaves which reads:
They added the laurel leaves in 1913 and it was used up until they ceased production during the 1970s.

- In very good condition with no damage
- Faint under-glaze crazing all over
- There are also some small paint marks inside, under the glaze
