This is a dazzling, multi-stranded crystal necklace, in a rich variety of blues, by Butler & Wilson, the renowned British costume jewellery maker.
The design is focused around three large, royal blue crystals, each of which sits upon a dome of tiny clear crystals. And amongst these smaller crystals are patterns of coloured crystals which form six flowers per dome. It's a beautiful design.
Separating the domes are three strands of iridescent blue, multi-faceted beads, themselves separated by silver-coloured, engraved discs.
The necklace continues with a section of more blue, crystal beads and rods, with silver-coloured separators in between. Finally, there's a section of smaller, blue crystal beads, again interspersed with silver-coloured beads.
The three strings of beads have then been knotted together, with two strands passing through a black sleeve, before being terminated with a gorgeous mix of crystal beads and charms. At one end is a fish, at the other is an owl and the Butler & Wilson tag.
The necklace can be lengthened or shortened by pulling the strands through the sleeve. It can be worn as a choker necklace or longer, as a matinee necklace.
The necklace comes with a Butler & Wilson branded presentation box.
