What's for sale?

This is a signed, hinged bangle by the collectable costume jewellery maker Trifari, in a gold tone metal alloy.

It's slender and elegant, with a textured finish and luxurious sheen.

The clasp is a good design and easy to use one-handed: depress the latch to open or close.

Who made it and when?

It was made by American costume jewellery maker Trifari. The reverse of the clasp shows the Trifari Crown signature, the style of which suggest manufacture during the 1940s or 1950s.

What condition is it in?

• There is a nick on the outside near the clasp, as shown
• The chain is secure and the clasp works well
