What's for sale?
This is a pair of drinking mugs by Price & Kensington potteries, hand-decorated in their sought-after blue sheep design. They are small mugs with a brim capacity of 300ml.
Decoration is applied by hand, using shaped pieces of sponge. A large range of tableware was available with this pattern, such as teapots, plates, storage jars and a variety of serving dishes.
Who made them and when?
They are modern made by the Staffordshire company Price & Kensington. The range has been discontinued for some years and has become quite collectable. The maker's marks read:
