What's for sale?
This is a pair of small drinking mugs by the Price & Kensington pottery, hand-decorated in their sought-after blue sheep design.
The Decoration in blues and greens, is applied by hand using shaped pieces of sponge. A large range of tableware and kitchenware was available with this pattern, including teapots, plates, storage jars and serving dishes.
Who made them and when?
They are modern made by the Staffordshire company Price & Kensington. The range has been discontinued for some years, but is still desirable and has become quite collectable. The maker's marks read:
