What's for sale?
This is a good quality, 1950s, white, porcelain vase from the German maker Winterling.
The style is clean, pure and modern. With a cylindrical neck, the overall shape is like a bottle vase, but the body has been flattened on two sides, which have been impressed with a moonscape pattern of dimples.
Who made it and when?
It was made by German manufacturer Winterling from their factory in Röslau, Bavaria. The maker's mark dates it to the mid-1950s and reads:
