What's for sale?
This is a bone china Delphine trio of teacup, saucer and plate, decorated with floral pattern and black and gold rims.
Delphine was made by Hudson & Middleton of Longton, Staffordshire. All three pieces carry their mark, which dates them between 1930 and 1941 and reads:
- made in england
- delphine china
- est. 1870
We like using non-identical, but similar trios to make up a tea set. They're interesting to use, nice to display and you can always change what's in the "set".
What condition is it in?
- Second-hand
- In good condition
- The surface of the plate shows some wear
- There are manufacturing marks on the glaze inside the teacup and underneath the saucer and plate
