A ceramic, green and yellow Perrier 'bottle cap' ashtray
This is a ceramic, branded advertising ashtray for the French mineral water brand Perrier. The green and golden-yellow matches the historical colour of Perrier labels and the shape resembles an upturned a metal bottle cap.
This form allows the maker to do without the usual cigarette grooves, so it's just as much a pin or knick-knack dish as it is an ashtray.
Perrier, currently part of the Nestlé group, is of course a world-famous French brand of carbonated mineral water. It comes from Vergèze located in the Gard department of Southern France. The phrase "Model déposé" means that the design and \ or trademark is registered.

- A couple of dots of colour loss
- The yellow is patchy at the edges, which is quite common and probably intentional so that it looks like a worn, metal bottle cap
