This is a stoneware sauce boat from the early 1800's.

It's beautifully decorated in blue over white with gold highlights.

Who made it and when?

It was made by Hicks and Meigh of Staffordshire.  Their mark reads:

• Stone China
• No 21 (the pattern number)

What condition is it in?

• Second-hand
• In very good condition

What are the measurements?

• 9cm high
• 17cm from spout to handle
• 202 grams
