What's for sale?
This is a long, spongeware serving dish by Price & Kensington potteries, and hand-decorated with their charming, well-known and collectable blue sheep design.
The decoration was applied by hand, using shaped pieces of sponge. There was a full range of tableware available in this range, including teapots, mugs, plates and various serving dishes. This is quite a rare item and is hard to find.
Who made it and when?
It's a modern piece, made by the Staffordshire pottery Price & Kensington. The maker's mark reads:

- Price Kensington Potteries
- Made in England
What condition is it in?
- Second-hand
- In excellent condition
- No chips or damage
- There are some paint marks from manufacture underneath
