Sugar Shaker with "The Fens" Pattern

What's for sale?

This is a collectable, porcelain sugar caster or sugar shaker, with chrome top.

It's decorated with an attractive pattern depicting a stylised tree and distant windmill. A gold line traces the base.

This type of sugar caster is always collectable but this one is in a pattern we've never seen before.

Who made it and when?

There's no identifying maker's mark on the base, which reads:

• the fens
• made in England

What condition is it in?

• Second-hand
• In good condition
• No chips or cracks
• There's some crazing under the glaze
• There a little corrosion on the chrome neck

What are the measurements?

• 15cm high
• 5.5cm wide
• 166 grams
