This is a colourful, stoneware skittle vase by Denby from their Burlington range.
Burlington was designed by Albert Colledge in 1958 and included various forms and colourways. It's a design that clearly represents the 1950s and 1960s.
It's a tactile design with ribbed surface, bands of colours and applied white dots in relief.
Who made it and when?
It was made by Denby from a 1958 design by Albert Colledge. The mark on the base dates it between the 1950s and 1970s and reads:
- Denby
- Stoneware
- Made In England
What condition is it in?
- Second-hand
- In very good condition
- There are some stains in the mouth of the vase
- No chips, cracks or restoration
What are the measurements?
- 21.5cm high (about 8.5 inches)
- 9.5cm at the widest point (about 3.75 inches)
- 625 grams
