What's for sale?

This is a charming, Arts and Crafts chamberstick featuring an owl. It's made from pewter and has a beautiful, dark satin patina.

The design is of a leaf, with an owl perched on the end of the branch (the handle), and two bell shaped flowers, one for the candle sconce, the other for the snuffer.

The flowing design has obviously been inspired by nature, but it is still a practical and useful object. The owl's head flips back on its hinge, allowing matches to be stored inside and the candle can be extinguished easily by the snuffer.

There are no marks to identify the maker, just the numbers 11 and 780 engraved into the base. The Arts and Crafts movement flourished from around 1880 until the 1920s. This certainly could have been made during that time.
