What's for sale?
This is a spongeware milk or cream jug by Price & Kensington potteries, decorated by hand with their well-known, spongeware blue sheep design.
Spongeware uses shaped pieces of sponge to apply the decoration. There was a full range of tableware available in this range, including teapots, mugs, plates and various serving dishes.
Who made it and when?
It's a modern, discontinued range by the Staffordshire pottery Price & Kensington. The maker's mark reads:

- No chips or damage
- There is slight shelf wear underneath
